Operation Rahma 14 – LIBYA CRISIS APPEAL

What began as a fairly peaceful anti-government protest, has recently erupted into a string of violent acts and deaths across the country of Libya. Approximately three hundred people have already been killed and the situation continues to get worse. As this crisis continues, the North American Muslim Foundation has launched an appeal to help all of the people who have innocently been caught in the crossfire.
As a result of the humanitarian implications, NAMF has created a relief fund to provide medical aid to those affected by the uprising, resulting in injuries and loss of life. It has been reported that gun men are opening fire in hospitals and a Libyan Air Force aircraft attacked civilian protesters in Tripoli. As the chaos grows and the death toll rises, foreigners are struggling to find a way out. The Libyan airport is over crowded with people full of panic and desperation.
The North American Muslim Foundation is exclusively focused on providing humanitarian aid to those in crisis, outside of any political stance. Our goal is completely dedicated to providing the vulnerable people of Libya with much needed relief supplies. The last relief effort spearheaded by NAMF, your registered Muslim Canadian NGO for the last 38 years, has resulted in the providing relief and rehabilitation to thousands of people around the world.
